The deep roots of our company go back seventy years when Tommy Strange and his brother Pierce started Strange Bros. Grading Company with just a few pieces of farm equipment. It’s pretty fair to say that dirt runs in our blood.

Since 1954, Strange Bros. has grown to be one of region’s leading grading and site development contractors. Today we employ more than 75 professionals with over 300+ pieces of company-owned equipment.

Our client base includes many of the Upstate’s most respected developers and general contractors, as well as owners of growing businesses. They look to Strange Bros. not only for precision grading but for complete turnkey site development. That includes storm drainage, underground utilities, concrete curb and gutter, along with asphalt paving.
